Successful takeover: ‍Fiber Experts acquires Elecnet GmbH

On course for growth: Fiber Experts Deutschland GmbH (FED) has acquired all shares in Eschborn-based Elecnet GmbH as part of a share deal. The Düsseldorf-based company, which specializes in the implementation of broadband networks, continues to grow very rapidly with this transaction.

Raimund Winkler, CEO of Fiber Experts, states: “With the acquisition of Elecnet, we are consistently continuing our growth course. We are expanding our position in the German fiber optic market as one of the leading digital construction companies. Just two years after our foundation, we will already exceed the threshold of over 130 million euros in turnover in 2023.”

With more than 250,000 HPs in implementation, FED is the largest FTTH turnkey provider in Germany.

Fiber Experts focuses on growth

Fiber Experts Deutschland GmbH has been on a growth trajectory since the company was founded in 2021. The acquisition of Elecnet GmbH in Eschborn provides additional impetus: the inorganic expansion in terms of vertical integration increases Fiber Experts’ depth of value creation and strengthens the strategic positioning of the digital Düsseldorf-based construction company in the FTTH expansion sector. The acquisition forms the basis for further sustainable growth. The existing shareholders of Elecnet GmbH will remain strategic partners even after the transaction has been completed.

With Elecnet, Fiber Experts GmbH has acquired an established construction company specializing in FTTH expansion. With almost 70 of its own employees and a large network of subcontractors, Elecnet has sustainably grown construction capacities. Elecnet has clearly focused its strategic positioning on the construction of fiber optic networks and its range of services includes the planning of fiber optic networks in addition to civil engineering and installation. When implementing construction projects, the company relies on its own modern fleet of vehicles and machinery, which has been continuously expanded in recent years.
